The KuKirin G2 Master 2025 key switch is one of the major upgrades introduced on this new version.

Unlike the 2024 model and previous generations, the KuKirin G2 Master did not originally include a key switch system. After many requests from the KuKirin community, this feature has finally been added to the 2025 version.

This new equipment improves the overall riding experience and adds an extra level of security.

The KuKirin G2 Master 2025 key switch allows you to lock and unlock the scooter using a physical key.

It works as a secure power activation system. Without the key, the scooter cannot be powered on, helping to prevent unauthorized use.

However, it is important to note that this system does not replace an anti-theft lock. To properly secure your scooter, it is strongly recommended to use a dedicated lock in addition to the key switch.

KuKirin G2 Master 2025 key switch: how it works

The KuKirin G2 Master 2025 key switch uses a pin-based connection system.

Once the key is inserted, you can activate or cut off the scooter’s electrical power. The module also includes several essential controls for operating the scooter.

The Power button allows you to turn the scooter on and off easily.

The D/S button allows you to switch riding modes:

• Dual mode activates both motors for maximum power and performance
• Single mode uses only one motor to improve range and provide smoother riding

The KuKirin G2 Master 2025 key switch also includes an integrated thumb throttle.
